How exciting for you to get to know me. I am Sue Miller! My husband and I have two sons along with our dog, Gunther.
Our oldest son, Ben is a sophomore at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and our youngest son, Nick, is a freshman at University of St. Francis. Since having two active sons who play different sports, I know what it feels like being gone majority of the day. This is why family time is so important to have especially on the weekends when you finally get to catch your breath. For this reason I very rarely assign homework on the weekend.
The past fifteen years, I have been teaching in Minooka School District. I started off in Kindergarten, moved into third grade, and finally to fifth grade. I am very excited to be in fifth grade. Over the past twenty-six years, I have taught at every grade level including eighth grade. If I were asked which grade or grades do I like the best, I would have to say I really like all the grades. Each grade, just like each child is so unique. I feel my place in life is educating our future so that they become independent life long learners.
Please feel free to email me ([email protected] ), send a note, or call me (815-467-4692 ext. 2208) if you have any questions or concerns any time throughout the school year. Around 8:30 P.M., on school nights, is the last time I check my email. If you should have homework concerns that night, just email me so that we can work together for your child to succeed. (I check email by 6:30 A.M.)
